Spain, ahh Spain, the country of conquerors, the country that gave us shitty english accent and amazing ham. Spain is a country that has a sweet spot in my heart. Like Tunisia, Spain has fallen so deep down that a tortilla seems like an emperor’s supper nowadays. Spain is the living proof that Tunisia can make it to the EU and for that I am thankful to all those lazy Spaniards. One of those lazy Spaniard is actually my work partner. The poor guy graduated from architecture school at a time where his country had more uninhabited buildings than Tunisia had camels, try to beat that. To summarise it, Spain is on the verge of switching to the other side of the Mediterranean, which led me and Juan Gonzalez Miralles de Imperial (yes that is his full name) to thinking: Things are changing in Spain. What if we took advantage of a crisis to change our way of coliving?
